pullin a "High Fidelity" a.k.a. Top five list.

I wish to start a bit of a film discussion. I would like you all to share. I realize very few people read my blog but that's fine.

PLEASE POST YOUR TOP 5 FAVORITE FILMS OF ALL TIME

for the sake of simplicity all movie trilogies shall be considered one film as long as they were conceived as a trilogy and carried out by one director. (i.e. Star Wars. The Matrix, etc. The Rocky Movies don't count).

These are my top five

2. Trois Couleurs trilogy [Bleu, Blanc, Rouge] (Krzysztof Kieslowski)
3. Hero (Zhang Yimou)
4. Lord of the Rings Trilogy (Peter Jackson)

Viva La Nashville

I was in Nashville the week before the fourth of July. We filmed a commercial/short film with Davis Watson (Calvin Alum '04) for The Yazoo Brewing Co. (Local Nashville Brew). I shot the behind the scenes footage and was an extra. Josh Vecchi came along with me and was a very helpful assistant gaffer for the project. We were only in Nashville for about a day an a half but, let me tell you, it was worth it.

I won't go into what the film was about. instead I hope that the pictures below (complete with their original tagging from Flickr/Pbase) will give you some feel for how cool and crazy it was.

cleanin house

Hi all. I thought an update was due.

Its been my first full fledged day off in a while. Usually I have plans and stuff which is always nice but today I have no responsibilities. which means its time to clean house. My place is a pig sty and I've already been cleaning for an hour. By the end of the day my apt. should be totally habitable again.
